DRY & WET CHEMICAL SYSTEM

Chemical Suppression Systems use special dry or wet chemicals as their extinguishing agent. They are a type of special automatic suppression system used in areas where water or foam may be ineffective. 

They are generally used in areas with fuels and chemicals, high-value assets, and industrial kitchens. Depending on the type of chemical, the agent works by cutting off oxygen supply or by providing a cooling effect or both. The systems are usually set up over the specific protected area and triggered automatically. When activated, they release the chemical directly onto the fire, quickly suppressing it.
