EMACO Oblique Landing Valve is a type of hydrant valve used in wet riser and fire hydrant systems. It is a connection point where firefighters can attach hoses and access water for firefighting.
The valve is built in an oblique globe style. This design allows the user to easily connect hoses. The hose connection outlet is a BS336 instantaneous coupling outlet, allowing for quick connection of fire hoses. Oblique landing valves are commonly used as outlets in wet riser systems or external hydrant systems.
The valve is operated using the hand wheel mounted on top of the valve body. Turning the hand wheel lifts the internal stem and seat, allowing water to flow through the valve and into the connected fire hose. Closing the valve lowers the seat and stops the water flow.
